Beginning today, and running throughout the 2016 Postseason, we will give profiles of the ballparks being featured in the matchups. This postseason features the full gamut: from the two remaining iconic jewels from the Golden Age of baseball,
through a marvel of mid-century westward expansion,
to the epitome of modernity,
to the renaissance of "retro" ballpark architecture,
to a couple of the true modern gems.
We look forward to exploring the breadth of ballpark design and history over the coming weeks!
